Beckham Will Always Be My Captain

I guess David Beckham took his loss HARD. He has officially announced that he is stepping down as captain of his soccer team but promises to continue to play for England.
English football is starting its new era after the departure of coach Sven-Goran Eriksson and David Beckham's decision to stand down as captain. Beckham's decision means new coach Steve McClaren will have to choose a new skipper.

Beckham choked back tears as he delivered his emotional statement at a press conference at England's training headquarters in nearby Baden-Baden.
He said he "lived the dream" but with a new manager taking over it was time for a new captain, although he stressed he wanted to continue playing for England. Just beforehand, Eriksson said "sorry" nine times as he answered questions about England's elimination. He said: "We have to blame ourselves because I don't think we should be going home today. But that's life and we have to accept it." (source)
