Jessica Biel helped raise $30,000 by auctioning off a date with herself. The money is going towards a Colorado teen’s medical expenses. Some guy who wanted to be known as “John” (how original) bid an arm and a leg to get to break bread with Jessica. That must feel good to get that much money for a lunch. I once was part of an auction during college to raise money for some social group I belonged to and I barely got $100 bucks! Whatever JESS!

On Tuesday, a man identified only as “John” cast the $30,000 bid. He said he was a senior vice president for an oil and gas company in Denver, the Rocky Mountain News reported. Biel, who was out of the country at the time of the auction, will lunch with the man on Aug. 18.

A few weeks ago I got invited to attend a “Bloggers who Brunch” meeting. It’s a new organization created to “celebrate and elevate the best female lifestyle and fashion bloggers“. HOW EXCITING!So today was the day. We all met at Counter Restaurant (105 1st Ave) at noon. I was so nervous and excited to see who was going to be there. I went back and forth between jeans and a skirt for the majority of the morning. Thank goodness the skirt won. These women all looked amazing! I tried to snap as many pictures as possible but spent the majority of my time yapping with everyone. Here are just some of the wonderful people I met.

First up we hav Kathryn Finney (the Budget Fashionista) who is going to get Random House to send me 10 copies of her book to give away to my readers. She was such a genuine person. This girl’s spirit SCREAMED “Come and meet me” and I walked over to her as fast as I could. Najwa Moses is as big and outspoken as her hair. What an amazing character! She founded Styleaholics.com and was talking to us about podcasting and how it is the latest thing to do. I might get interviewed by her in the next few weeks. We exchanged cards - and I WILL follow up.

We all know this chick right? This is Danielle from Celebrity-Babies.com with her cutie in a sling. I should have talked to her about that sling. We all know how I don’t get those things. She was so nice and I found out she lives RIGHT next to me. That was so amazing to meet her. I thanked her about a million times for sending so many people my way. She invited me to a celebrity gossip meeting this Tuesday and I can’t wait to go. Hey Danielle, wanna car pool?

This man is a freaking genious. The more he spoke, the more I wanted to listen. Did you know that THIS is the guy who coined the term WEBSITE? CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? FREAKING WEBSITE? HELLO! Sorry - I was blown away when he was talking to the group. His name is Samir Arora and he is the CEO of the GLAM network. I am part of the GLAM network and was so happy to meet him. Next up we have Constance White. She is the style director for eBay. I didn’t have a chance to meet up with her but she said that eBay is going to be looking for bloggers by the end of the year. So I will keep an eye out for that.

Last but not least - the goodie bag! The lunch was free, the company was amazing AND we got to take home some free stuff! This was such an amazing day. I can’t wait to go to the next meeting.

Ok, I’m sorry for saying you had a shotgun wedding Tori. Your rep has put me in my place. Tori Spelling is NOT pregnant according to spokesperson Sarah Fuller. I posted yesterday that she was. I take it back. I take it all back.
