Ed Norton and Jessica Biel were amazing. I think it was the first time either one of them played a romance character. Each one brought all they had to this movie. Jessica needs to hang up her machine guns and stick to playing a love interest in a dress because she made the theatre glow every time it was her turn to speak. AND ED NORTON! Well, we all know what an amazing actor he was.
The big sleeper in the film was Paul Giamatti. He had me at "I AM NOT DRINKING A MERLOT!". When I saw that he was playing one of the main characters of the film I was skeptical. But he played such a likeable villian that the casting directors should all get a raise. No one could have played his role better.
The movie made me laugh and cry but most of all it made me wonder... what if? I don't want to tell you too much about the film because I rather you go in with a clean head. But I will tell you this:
It was about magic and everlasting love. It was about letting yourself believe in something that might not be. It was about letting go of what you have been told all your life and being free to love a love that is endless and pure. It was about believing that anything is possible... even the impossible. PLEASE go see this movie.
