JK Rowling is on American soil enjoying a nice vacation in the Hamptons. If you are heading out there tonight, be sure to keep an eye out for one of my favorite authors. She is staying in a 76,000 pound rental (I can't do the conversion - I'm bonde) with her family for the week.

The 41-year-old ventured into the surf on a beach in the exclusive Hamptons, on America's East Coast. The beachfront home has a tennis court, basketball and pool, as well as three acres of land including a garden. There are also seven bedrooms for the couple to choose from. (source)
