Say what you will... but I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Mummy movies. I have this unhealthy fascination with Egyptian history. My family comes from Malta and Egypt is a hop, skip, and a jump away from us. Growing up, I had scrolls in frames around my house and art carved on golden plates. So The Mummy is one of my favorite films (corny but true). I think I have seen it a hundred times! So when I read that Rachel Weisz is ready to reprise her role as Evelyn, I just had to share!

The Oscar winning performer is quoted in the Sun newspaper as saying:"I know there's a new script but I haven't read it yet. "Nothing's definite yet and should the film be done, it's probably going to happen next summer." She continued: "And if so, I would definitely like to be in it". (source)
