Jet Company Sues Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony used a private jet company to fly to both Puerto Rico and Burbank and forgot to pay the bill. The two flights racked up over $35,000 in expenses and Lopez hasn't coughed up the dough yet. The company has tried on countless occasions to get their payment but have come up empty handed each time. So representatives from Avjet Corp. made their way down to the LA Superior Courts and filed suit.

A private jet company has sued Jennifer Lopez, saying the singer and actress is late on payments for a pair of chartered flights. Avjet Corp. of Burbank sued Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking nearly $35,000. Each flight cost about $16,000, according to the lawsuit, and with interest the bill totals $34,241. An invoice lists the passengers as Marco Muniz -- the real name of her musician husband, Marc Anthony -- and Lopez under the name Jennifer Muniz, along with four other guests. (source)
