Scott Caan made his directorial debut on Dallas 362, which he wrote and starred in. The film won the Critic's Choice Award at this year's Cinevegas Film Festival. Dallas 362 also was invited to the 2004 Toronto, Denver and London film festivals.

When he was a teenager, he was in a rap duo called The Whooliganz. His rap name was Mad Skillz. The other member of the group was The Alchemist who is now a hip hop producer/Eminem's DJ
