The closet-sized room in the East Village meant to resemble "the dressing room of a Hollywood starlet in the 1930s" showcases his women's wear (priced from $150 to $50,000, for a hand-sequined gown). Among his offerings are a hand-pleated butter-yellow blouse with a 1940s shoulder line, an ostrich-feather skirt crowned with an orange cameo and a purple-and-black corset that is, one could say, a wee bit revealing. A fancy chandelier, an old-style telephone and a wooden antique desk add to the 1930s starlet's dressing-room feel. (source)
