All My Children To Introduce A Transgender Character

All My Children has announced that this week we will get introduced to Zarf, a man who is vying to become a woman. Jeffrey Carlson's storyline will actually follow through the process of getting a sex change. Well, if we all have to sit through baby switching, demonic possessions and rising from the dead, I think we can handle a little sex change operation.

The character, a flamboyant rock star known as Zarf, kisses the lesbian character Bianca and much drama ensues. The storyline begins with Thursday's episode of the daytime drama. (source)
