Here is more:
Police believe "Prison Break" actor Lane Garrison may have been drunk when he crashed his SUV into a tree over the weekend, killing a 17-year-old boy who was one of his passengers, FOXNews.com has confirmed.
"According to our accident investigators, Mr. Garrison did display symptoms of alcohol intoxication," Beverly Hills Police spokesman Lt. Mitch McCann told FOXNews.com. "In addition, investigators removed alcohol containers from the SUV he was driving that was registered to him."
McCann said he could not comment on what kind of alcohol containers were taken from the vehicle, nor could he disclose whether Garrison, 26, had taken a breathalyzer at the scene or undergone blood alcohol level testing.
The accident happened just before midnight on Saturday, when Garrison — who played David "Tweener" Apolskis on the FOX TV show "Prison Break" until his character was killed off earlier this season — jumped a curb and slammed into a tree in the sport utility vehicle he was driving.
His passengers were the teenage boy, who died of his injuries after he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and two 15-year-old girls. One of the girls is still at Cedars-Sinai in serious condition; the other was treated there and released, according to TMZ.com.
