What does a girl have to do to get noticed around here anyway!? Ashlee Simpson was feeling a tad left out seeing all the shots of Paris, Lindsay and Britney plastered all over every tabloid known to man. So what does she do? She emails Paris and asks if she can play. Paris promised to call but never did. I actually believe this story. I don't know why. But wouldn't it make sense that Ashlee would try to join for a litte exposure. And I don't mean the Britney kind. I mean - the 'I'm so cool! I hang with all of young Hollywood' kind.

Ashlee Simpson is feeling a little excluded, as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears have been partying as a trio since Thanksgiving weekend. A source told Star, "She e-mailed Paris saying she'd love to hang out, and Paris told Ashlee they'd call, but they never did." Supposedly Britney is the reason Ashlee is being left out of their party crew. "She and Paris make jokes about Ashlee lip-synching... Britney just can't take her seriously." The source claims "Ashlee's at home bored." Poor Ash, she can't seem to live that SNL incident down. (Star Magazine)
