Star Magazine is reporting that Jessica Simpson couldn’t concentrate on her tribute performance to Dolly Parton earlier this week because she was too focused on keeping her dress up. That’s why she had her hand on her dress the entire time she was performing. I also want to clarify that Jessica did end up finishing the song. When I reported on the story early yesterday morning, the report I used had misinformation.
It was Jessica Simpson‘s faulty dress that made her cry during a tribute performance to Dolly Parton at the Kennedy Center Honors event on Nov. 3.As she sang a version of “Nine to Five” to honor Parton, reports say she was seen on tape grabbing the strapless gown with one arm, while holding a microphone.
Here is the bad news. Access Hollywood has confirmed the footage will NOT be aired during the Dec 26th show.
Access Hollywood showed the clip of her flub last night. Jessica sounded terrible to begin with, never mind screwing up the words. She can blame it on a wardrobe malfunction, acid reflux or nerves…plain and simple, neither one of the Simpson sisters sounds good live.
Oh please just another Simpson camp excuse. Like anyone will believe this…
I think she is pregnant or just had an abortion. WHy else would she be clutching her dress and crying? Okay that may be a stretch, but its the first thing that came to mind when I read that.

This whole thing is so stupid. I for one do not like Jessica Simpson. In fact, I cant stand her. But the clip I saw is really not that bad.
