Okay, so I am scared for residents of Munice, Indiana! Q-listed celebrities have been SWORN into the police force for a new reality television show called 'Armed and Famous'. Who now has a badge and GUN you ask?

The CBS show, "Armed and Famous," being filmed in this east-central Indiana city, population 66,000, follows the celebrities as they enforce the laws alongside city police officers. (source)

I live in muncie and have my whole life its bullsh*& if you ask me there exploiting are crime rate and instead of trying to clean up our streets there going to be doing what they can for ratings (also there being really unprofessional bye breaking down doors without warning)
What? I cannot believe the mockery of law and order that is being made in Muncie! City Council actually passed this? I would remember that at elction time. If there was an opening on the department for police officers then why not give it to someone who not only needs the job and experience but also would be dedicated to the job and not just trying to revive thier acting careers? Muncie, please wake up!

This show is a insult to all law enforcement agencies. I have worked all my life in law enforcement and I had to work really hard to get to where I am. The TV show “Cops†shows officers acting like ego driven high school students. When the cameras go on people act differently. All of my officers treat the public with respect. Breaking the public trust will not be tolerated in my department. This show strikes at the heart and brotherhood of officers. Also there are age and height standards in most agencies. I guess these were waived due to it being a TV show. I would really like to know the motivation behind the city council and or police chief authorizing the shooting of this show. I guarantee you the officers that are working with these entertainers are only doing it because they have to. La Toya Jackson as backup? God help us.
I am a retired police officer for 26 years. As a police officer and later a sergeant I was told by alot of people I arrested or came contact with "I can do that job". I feel this program does not do honor to the police officers that have served and those that lost their lives.
All of the person you selected could not pass the background checks each officer has to go through before the go to the Academy.It takes alot longer then three weeks to graduate from any police academy in the nation. I found myself screaming a the television when the Osborn kid said he used drugs. Will Latoya be willing to arrest Michael?.The little man may think he is a tough guy I have seen full size officer brought down with 21/2 lbs of trigger pull. I know all to well that the size and sex of the officer does not make them effective. But the reason they became Officer does. You want this show to be realistic turn the camera off or concel the camera and crew send them down that alley, have them fight with a drug out person confrint the armed violator or make the routing traffic stop that turns into a shooting I think you will find they will lose their police partner. Police officer and and the need for police officers go on longer then ratings. What is next ARMED AND TERRORIST

who gives a f***k.. its just tv.. and if you are stupid enough to be watching this crap..instead of being pro active about electing a president or leader who is really gong to change the system ..then by all means keep leting your civil liberties slip past you..and sit there while big business continues to fist f***k this planet out of its natural resources for evry dime that it can get.. and then tell you that we have an alternative...wake the f***k people its time for a revolution...NOW!!! before its too late!!!
