Staying up late to host the show: "I go to bed throughout the year at 8:30 p.m. every night because I get up at 4 in the morning so it's a rare occasion that I'm even awake at midnight... I will definitely have to adjust my schedule a little bit and have plenty of shots of espresso."
Taking over for Dick: "As far as I'm concerned Dick can do it and will do it as long as he wants to and when he doesn't want to and he wants to sit at home and watch it, hopefully he will still like me and I can continue the tradition."

ryan seacrest makes me want to punch a wall
I agree with the above poster. He is obnoxious. I have considered not watching American Idol because I cannot stand his naseating sparring back and forth with Simon. They could do with out him.
