Britney Spears' Online Message To Her Fans

It has been a while since I've addressed you personally here on my official website. The last couple of years have been quite a ride for me, the media has criticized my every move and printed a skewed perception of who I really am as a human being. Behind every decision I have made in my public life there always seems to be an apparent contradiction. I have come to terms with that which is why I usually don't pay much attention to it.
The last couple of years have been very enlightening for me and now that I've had the time to be "me," I've been able to sit down and think about where I want to go with myself as an entertainer with absolutely no strings attached. I am now more mature and feel like I am finally "free." I've been working so hard on this new album and I can't wait for you all to hear it and to go on tour again! I would like to exclusively tell you that I am working hard to release the new album sometime later this year, but the date is of course not certain yet. I look forward to coming back this year bigger and better than ever, and to also reaching out to my fans on a more personal level. I noticed today that one of my biggest fansites is shutting down soon and I want you all to know that I do understand all the reasons that went behind making that decision, and I am sad to see it closing. If I were you I'd be unhappy too if I had to read what I've been reading every day. But trust me, I get it. I know I've been far from perfect and the media has had a lot of fun exaggerating my every move, but I want you all to know that I love my fans so much, and I appreciate everything you have done for me, so Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

"No strings attached." Does that include her children?
Why is it that she sounds like a normal, intelligent, respectful human being in writing, but not in photos and basically every story written/told about her (recently)? It makes no sense and sure sounds like someone else wrote that one for her. Who knows though... stranger things have happened.
uhhh her music SUCKS and always has. her "talent" is a complete joke. she is a complete joke. "Oops I did it again" and "Hit me Baby One More Time"... yeah, real talented. What a legend!!! Not...
Yes please stop hating!!! No one is perfect and i bet you brit hatters all done some stupid stuff you guys just dont have camaras on you all the time to point them out to and make it look so much worse then it is. She just got out of a horrible 2 year marriage and needs to have fun right now and make up for the lost time to heal her heart. We all know how that feels. Its like her kids are left a home alone with no food its just a little faze she went through to help her heal her pain from k-fed. Im sure during the day she is a great mom and loves those two biys to death. She still young and soon will snap out of it and realize but for now let her do what she has to.
I guess we should all just stop and think about the fact that when brit was younger she was just like a puppet. she did everything everyone told her to do, worked her ass off etc. it would be so hard not being able to do what you want wear what u want and see who u want
maybe thats why she does the weirdest things... just cause she cherishes the (little) freedom that she now has..
I read her letter and all I can think of is...wow, this person sees herself as a victim. Britney is extremely immature and seems unable to take responsibility for herself and her actions. She is in total denial - kind of like an alcoholic is.
Pretty terrifying when you consider she is a mother now.

Its so sad that the Media can build you up and then try they level nest to destroy you.they are the ones who arre trying to destroy you.
Every mother knows what it is like to have your kids for a day just for them taken away. I feel children should be with their mother. I know you are going through hell now but just stop the drugs the clubs, the drugs every thing . Maybe most of it is not true but to beat this you have stay out of the news.

hey, briney is a very great person and will relizeone day i hope...just because people say so many bad thing about her does not mean its true come on think she was a perfect singer but then something happen that she does not get.she will.lets just pray and hope that britney will shout it out and say i was a jerk before but now i want to chang...maybe maybe not.. all she as to do is stop the drinking and drugs and still go with her carrie
