American Idol - Who Is Watching?

I love watching the auditions for American Idol! Some of these young singers really think they have talent! I don't mind it when Simon Cowell is honest with his judgment on their "talent". BUT when he starts ripping the physical attributes of these poor souls, I feel so bad for them! Did you see that boy who he said looked like a monkey? That isn't he fault! I almost started crying because I felt so bad for him. And it is so obvious that Simon doesn't like overweight people either. Every time someone comes in and happens to be a little heavy, Simon makes a terrible face as if he is dismissing them before they say their name! Paula Abdul was drugged up as usual. But she also seemed very sick. So perhaps it was cough medicine? Anyway, it seems that they are showing more bad than good these days. Either way, I am hooked... Are you watching?

I am watching the auditions. Unfortunately, I like to watch the REALLY bad people for a good laugh. But I agree with you, when he starts picking on people for the way they look, that is going too far. It is different if they are dressed up in a costume purposely trying to look strange, but when they are honestly trying their hardest to look nice, that makes me hate Simon. I almost started crying at the monkey guy and then the overweight guy after! Terrible :(
