Renee Zellweger bleached her hair, threw on some black tights and gold shoes and headed out to midtown to meet up with some friends. She looks very disheveled to me. Is this a hot mess candidate? Or am I overreacting?

Well considering how cold it is in New York, I think she looks pretty good actually. Not sure about the gold heels with the tights though. Love her coat.

That coat is amazing, but she should have ditched the tights for a nude hose or something. Eesh.
Trends be damned - any type of stocking with open-toed shoes needs to be laid to rest immediately. Totally dig the coat though.
Her outfit is surprisingly cool. I normally thinks she looks awful but here she looks really quirky and cute.
The opaque tights with sandals is a big thing here in London. I always rock that look myself :-)

Maybe she forgot to pack appropriate clothes. After all she had spent some time in Katy, Texas visiting family. Maybe? But then again, maybe she just wanted to do something different.
