Katie Holmes will not be returning to play Rachel Dawes in the latest Batman movie. Um… WHY NOT? I guess Tom Cruise isn’t too into superhero movies.  Here is what Katie’s spokesperson had to say:

“Katie was offered [Dark Knight] but was unable to accept the role because of scheduling conflicts,” Julie Polkes, a spokeswoman for Holmes, tells the WSJ. “She was in the process of negotiating for another project. In addition, when she returns to work, she would like to tackle a new character.” (source)

Aren’t you just DYING to find out what amazing, Scientology approved movie Katie is vying for? Well, Us Weekly found out it is called Mad Money and will co-star Queen Latifah.

Mad Money, a comedy about three female Federal Reserve workers who plot to pocket old currency before it’s destroyed. Holmes would take a pay cut and receive only $250,000 for her role in the film, which possibly costars Queen Latifah. (source)

I think there is more of a chance of me watching the new Batman movie personally.

I thought getting thrown in rehab would have made that statement for her already. This whole thing with Miss USA leaves a Midori sour taste in my mouth.

“My life has completely changed,” she told PEOPLE Friday. “I’m a completely different person out of rehab. Before I entered rehab I hardly knew who I was. I felt like I was floating and I just needed someone to pull me down. I didn’t think I had any kind of issue going into rehab. I even said, ‘I’ll get some free therapy,’ or something like that – and that was so ridiculous,” says Conner. “But I’ve realized I do have an issue. I suffer from the disease of alcoholism and addiction. And if there’s anything that I want people to know it’s the severity of this disease and what it can do to people.” (source)

Hayden Panettiere lent her singing voice to Cinderella III. I don’t want to say that she should stick to acting… but she should stick to acting. I love the girl. But I find her singing voice to be very average. And by “very average” I mean a 1000% better than mine. Click here to listen and watch.

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer were spotted walking together in Miami. Jessica looks HAWT! I’m trying to figure out if she has a bikini underneath that long shirt or if that is her pajama.
