Jennifer Hudson Was Abused On American Idol

WOAH! Jennifer Hudson told Essence Magazine that she was "abused, misled and brainwashed" on American Idol. She gets a little love from the movie industry and immediately starts to bite the hand that pushed her in the spotlight? Is that the smartest move? I think it is a very honest interview and I appreciate that she opened up for Essence. But is it wise to come out with that much criticism so early on in her career?
"On American Idol, you go through this mental thing; you've got to get yourself back together. You've been abused, misled and brainwashed to believe whatever they want you to think. You become a character - “ I became the girl in the turkey wrapping." (On one episode, she wore an unflattering outfit that earned that label.) "I just knew I had to sing my way out of it. I don't believe in looking back, and I didn't look back." (source)

Well how ungrateful! No matter how they treated her, not one forced her to be there, she could have walked away. And the fact is she wouldnt be where she is today without American Idol, so she really should just get over it and be grateful...jeez!
Grateful when they belittle you? Yeah, that makes sense.

No.....Grateful that she is only where she is now because of american idol. Like I said, if she didnt like it she could have just walked away, no one was forcing her to be there, if it was that hard for her why did she stick at it???????????
Its not the first time that someone from american idol has had negative things to say about it. the bottom line, is that american idol didnt DO anything for her except expose her to riducule...and then vote her off. she had to audition for that role like 5000 other women.. and she got the role cause she can blow. she may not be the amercan idol. but dang it shes one of mine!
American Idol puts the contestants through sheer hell--not to mention Simon--EW!! She would have gone on to success with or without American Idol--that happened to be the main vehicle that pushed her out into the spotlight! YOu go girl! You deserve all the glory!
Um wtf r u guys talking about naAaaah
