Last night I was invited to the first annual NBC’s Blogger Convention in NYC. I thought it was going to be a little nothing event. BUT it turned out to have some real heavy hitters in the audience. Blogs like The Gothamist, Gawker, Best Week Ever, Celebreality and Media Bistro were all represented. If you are a blogger, you would appreciate that the founding member of Moveable Type was there too. In the end, NBC wanted to work with us to help make their news better.
The meetings were held in both the news room and Conan O’Brien’s studio. Jared (Just Jared) and I met up with City Rag and Four Four. So it was a mini-NYC reunion for us.
