ABC news is reporting that Virgie Arthur, Anna Nicole Smith's mother, said today on "Good Morning America" that Larry Birkhead is Danielynn's father. She also said that her daughter's death was drug related.

"I think she had too many drugs," Arthur told "GMA" anchor Robin Robert, "just like Danny". She has also said that the father of her granddaughter, Dannielyn Hope, is not Smith's attorney Howard K. Stern, as both Smith and Stern claim, but Smith's ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead.
wow..of all the people in life, the most loved and close people talk like this after her death..what extreme hypocrisy...this news should have brought profound sadness to many people!

I was going to say the same thing about Anna Nicole not having contact with her family. I believe she said in an interview that she never wanted her mother to even meet the new baby. Her mother seems like she will say or do anything for attention. I am sure she got paid for her interview.
Anna Nicole Smith never did anything for the world why is she so important after her death this woman has gotten more attention after death than the pope she was a waste of a beautiful woman. and all i want for dannielyn is for her to have a fatther who will love her not just want her for the money she is worth and i hope that she will NOT be l ike her mother. end of story

I feel sorry for the baby, and in a mysterious way I feel for Howard K Stern. I think he is genuine in his feelings for baby and Anna. If he didnt love her he wouldnt hv still been around Anna all those years. Anna finally seduced him and she herself said that. He is a shy man who is so unfortunate in loving the wrong woman. I hope he is the father, Anna wanted him to be the father so be it as per her wishes. God bless them all
