Norah Jones Asked To Lose Weight For Movie Role

Norah Jones does NOT need to lose weight! I can't believe someone would require that of her to star in the movie My Blueberry Nights.
"I probably shouldn't say this but I was asked to lose a few pounds. First I got really mad, then I got nervous thinking: 'Oh no! I'm fat.' It was a horrible thing to hear but I understand the game. I was just amazed that it really was an issue and it made me have a lot more sympathy for really skinny actresses. But I still think they need to eat a cheeseburger."

I would love to see who is asking these celebrities to lose weight. I bet they are balding, old fat men. This is insane.

Granted, cameras add weight, but producers seem to have an odd idea of what heavy looks like on the screen. Renee Zellweger and Minnie Driver actually look absolutely fine in their "heavier" roles on the screen.

I hope that she turned down the role if they DEMANDED that she lose weight!
