Virgie Arthur made a desperate plea to the Bahamanian courts to make sure Howard K. Stern doesn’t take her granddaughter out of the country. And the courts complied! This whole situation is so bizarre to me. Howard is granted temporary custody without any rights. Does Virgie think that Howard is going to run with Dannielynn? Do you think he would do such a thing? That would also mean that he would be giving up Anna Nicole Smith’s millions. I wouldn’t be so worried about Howard falling into the shadows. There is too much at stake here.
After frantic pleas by Anna Nicole Smith’s mother, a Bahamian judge yesterday slapped Howard K. Stern with a court order preventing him from whisking the late centerfold’s baby out of the Caribbean country. Smith’s mom, Virgie Arthur, begged the court to take action, saying she fears for the safety of her 5-month-old granddaughter as long as baby Dannielynn remains with Stern. Justice Stephen Isaacs granted the grandmother’s request for an injunction preventing Stern – who is listed as the father on Dannielynn’s birth certificate – from taking her out of the Bahamas. In other news, Larry Birkhead’s lawyer has filed two legal filings to make sure the paternity test takes place in Florida on the 21st of February.
