New Debate: Who Gets Anna Nicole Smith's Body?
How TERRIBLE! Now there is going to be a media frenzy over who gets to legally claim Anna Nicole Smith's body! I guess anyone and everyone who has been in contact with her will try to take ownership. Roy Black was interviewed by The Early Show and had this to say:
"This is one of those wonderful thorny legal questions that we lawyers love. I think what the judge is going to have to do is first take a look at the will," Black said. "If, in the will, she says how and where she wants to be buried, then that's going to be a preeminent. However, without that, it goes to the next of kin. The next of kin is the child, which is 5-months-old, so then you have to look at the guardian or parent. Howard K. Stern is listed as the father.
"So, right now he's going to be making the decisions, unless, and I say unless, the judge says, 'OK I'm not convinced that Howard is the father, other guardian, and I want DNA testing,' then it could take weeks for the determination." (source)
If to believe she should be burried next to her son with that being said, would it be to hard for her the judge to rule her mother receive her remains if she agrees to bury her with her son.
hi i think anna nicole,s body really should be lay next to her son danniel. im sure this is what anna would really would want to be near her son . god bless anna nicole and her son. and her little angel ,daughter . god bless . james and peggy sturgill , you will be missed,
Hello I think that Anna Nicole Smith should be buried beside her son, Daniel. I think that it is sad that they are having arguments regarding who gets her body. Rest in peace, Anna!
