Should Dr. Sandeep Kapoor Be Held Responsible In Anna Nicole Smith's Death?

A doctor has been identified that supplied Anna Nicole Smith with a prescription for methadone while she was eight months pregnant. A prescription was found that was written out to a false alias on August 25th and picked up that same day. Where does his responsibility start and end? I am sure this isn't the first time that Dr. Sandeep Kapoor has provided drugs to Anna Nicole. In fact, I am sure she had several doctors doing her favors. Should these doctors be held responsible for her death? Couldn't they see that she was heavily addicted to these drugs? Who in their right mind would continue to provide an addict with the substance that is killing them? She was always such a mess when the media got a hold of her. I am sure when she walked into Dr. Sandeep's office, she was in the same type of state.
Dr. Sandeep Kapoor was by Anna Nicole's side when she participated in West Hollywood's Gay Pride Parade back in 2005. He also prescribed methadone when Smith was eight months pregnant. TMZ obtained documents which show that on August 25, 2006, just 13 days before Smith gave birth, Dr. Kapoor wrote a prescription for methadone. The prescription, RX#2846735, was written for Michelle Chase. TMZ has learned that Michelle Chase was an alias Anna Nicole used. Under California law, it's illegal to prescribe a controlled substance to a false name.
That same day, Key Pharmacy in the San Fernando Valley filled the prescription and sent it to "Vicky Marshall" (sic) in the Bahamas. Vickie Marshall is Anna Nicole's legal name. (source)

Um, that was the Gay Pride parade, not Mardi Gras.
Methadone is not at all like crystal methampethamine. Methadone is made up of methyl + amino + diphenyl + -one used to counter act the effects of withdrawl symptoms from drugs such as herion or other narcotics without causing the "high" associated with the drug addiction. Methadone is used as a pain reliever and as part of drug addiction detoxification and maintenance programs. Please do not get the two confused.
Anyways, she should have not been taking these type of drugs while pregnant.
yea that was gay pride not mardi gras geezus get your shit straight
Vanessa obviously does not now anything about methadone. Methadone is used for not only heroin addiction, but chronic pain. I should know, I take methadone for back pain due to surgery. I have never taken heroin, and despise crystal meth. The only thing the two have in common is the first four letters. People should not comment on something they know NOTHING about, it just makes you look kind of, well, ignorant. Everyone wants to act like they know all the facts and judge. Maybe we should all just wait until we get all the facts before we point fingers and blame this drug or that person.
