DESPITE the National Enquirer's claim that the eerie post-mortem images of Anna Nicole Smith it published were "photo re-creations based on eyewitness accounts," a source close to the magazine says they were the actual photos of the Playboy playmate's corpse lying in a Florida mortuary. "We didn't want to get anyone fired," an Enquirer operative told The Post's Braden Keil. Someone with access to the refrigerated drawers scored a big payday after pulling out Smith's pre-embalmed body and unzipping the body bag for an Enquirer photographer to hurriedly snap her bluish face. You know when i first saw the pics, i thought they were eerie, and could be real. I still think they are. Low...real low
Like Anony said, the mouth is different. I also think the hair looks rather different. Conclusion - Photoshop.
You know, they look pretty real to me. That is not a lookalike in that bag and where would they have real pictures of Anna Nicole sleeping to then doctor up to make her look dead?
I suspect that enough money waved in front of a person at the morgue or medical office would get this result.
Everyone is on the take for a little piece of the Anna Nicole money tree, even as she lays in the morgue.
Plus- the pictures could have been taken at different times, thus the reason her lips and hair are different.
The person who worked at the morgue would have more opportunity to take the pictures and then sell them to the Enquirer (not allow the photographer in the morgue).
The top picture looks like it was taken after she had been fixed up a bit, say by the funeral home after embalming.
people today are realy sick, real or fake, this is just crazy
i think the picture is real when you look a little bit longer you become collywobbles .

i think the picture of her from above is real, the sideshot is definately a fake. where is the respect for anna?
What I have seen and heard is that the side view was photoshopped to look fake. If you enlarge it you can see blurring in the lip area and also the hair line. Looks like they photoshopped that in. The other photo if you enlarge has no differences or blurs....so that would be the real one. Gloe printed one as well and they photo shopped fake eyelashes on her. I also askes someone I know that works at a funeral home. and he said he would be surprised if the person in the one photo was not a photo of a dead body. SO the chances of someone finding a dead body looking like Anna Nicole seems harder to believe. Especially considering she was laying there for three weeks. I think that someone had this planned. Perhaps trying on several different occasions. Then hit pay dirt with these two pictures. Quite frankly I am surprised they did not turn up sooner. At least it proves one thing........the rumor that I now here that she faked her own death. Now come on that is absurd for so many different reasons.....For one she loved the media and the people.....she didnt just want to be a normal "Joe"
well, wether they r real photos or not. she was a human being and a loving person. no one should make pics like this just to gain money for their own benefit. it is sad. danielynn will grow up one day see these photos of her mom. let anna rest in peace. i know she will be missed. hopfully danilynn will be with her real father real soon, larry. miss u anna... that website shows that Anna has birthmarks on her face and neck. The forehead looks identically in the pictures, but no birthmarks.
