why´s she irresponsible to "those" children? are you talking about her own children?? - I HATE to be mean, but what you say is so not fair; angelina does so many good things, she really cares about what happens to the poor and to those who haven´t had as much luck as she had. I don´t see anything wrong with that, you should really think twice before you judge her.
she´s so inspiring...

Bohemian_me - I absolutely agree with you. She is such a wonderful person. People should look up to her for her accomplishments, not judge her. She does more for this world than any other celebrity.

Who cares why she does this, at lesat she is doing something and bringing to light the troubles of these people. She is dong something and not trying to sell plastic hair or perfumes like alot of others.

People love to judge her because she is beautiful, in a love story, accomplished career-wise AND good-looking... all of this while having *three* kids and taking NO EXCUSE not to work, not to do good and not to take care of herself. That is why.

Sorry but her relationship with Brad will always cancel any good that she does. Besides her past is hard to get rid off. Wait till Brad leaves her, the press will have a field day! And he will. Poor gal. She should stop showing off whenever she does charity, it is disgusting, all these place have not gotten better in the last years she has visited them any way!

i absolutely agree with sam! george clooney is definetely doing more than angelina does and he´s not such a publicity whore! i hate the "holy"expression on her face on these photos. many other celebs are doing charity and nobody cares, only angelina is always the HEROine! i´m so sick of her face

I am from the third world (Uganda) too. There have been many UN ambassadors, they come and go (usually of course they change nothing). Angelina approached the UN to be an ambassador at the time when her life was in crisis. So believe it or not, this is all to cultivate a new image. And whereas charity is good, I believe her involvement in the third world problems trivialises them and makes the people who matter escape while the spot light is on her. What changes in Darur when she hugs a child? Does the government start paying more attention? No one has any illusions that the Sudanese government can actually listen to Angelina Jolie (I mean come on be realistic, even if an official met her, he would be thinking of how quick he can get her into bed). I know I may sound ungrateful but please tell me, which country has changed ever since she visited it? Her intentions may be good. But her image and personal life is like a red herring that draws away attention from the real issues. May be people would take her more seriously if there were less cameras and she had nothing to gain like Publicty. I too was disappointed in how she used the Namibian government. Has Namibia changed an Iota ever since? Politicians are greedy, any one will do icluding Ms Jolie am sorry but I do not believe she has done any good for the past six years she has been a UN ambassador. It has benefitted her most. The problem with Americans and the western world is you used too much PR andyou believe everything preached by the media. Africa’s problems do not need Angelina Jolie to reduce them to trivia as she has done for the last six years. Wake up and the people who matter should step in and intervene Urgently!

I think that this is a great thing because someone is actually doing something about the ongoing genocide in Sudan. Angelina Jolie is doing a great thing.
