Avril Lavigne Thinks She Could Handle Britney's Celebrity

I don't know if I agree with Avril. There are only a few people in the world who could understand how much stress and pressure Britney Spears goes through on a daily basis. Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Michael Jackson and Tom Cruise are the only names I can come up with right now that REALLY experience the paparazzi frenzy. There are A listers and then there are A LISTERS. Avril Lavigne just isn't there yet. So her comments are coming off as a bit insulting to me. I get what she is saying - the press comes with the business. But the above mentioned have lost their souls to the industry in a way that everyone else in Hollywood will never understand.

I agree with what Avril says. You need to be a stable and secure person in order to deal with the paparazzi and media attention. Britney is obviously far from being stable. Look at Madonna, she has always been hounded by the press, yet I have never seen her crack. She is a strong woman who knows what she wants. Britney, not so much.

Very well put Vera! I agree. Avril is very talented, but she is not quite at that place yet where Britney is (or was). To have your every every move watched since the time you were 14, must be extremely STRESSFUL. Angelina, Brad, Tom, etc. are older and have been around before blogging even started giving them more time to adjust to the madness. These young stars dont have a clue as to how to handle things these days.

The only other people that get followed around by the paparazzi 24/7 is Angelina and Brad. Even when Brad was with Jennifer, they never got the same coverage. Very few people do.

Avril has no idea what fame feels like. She had a tiny taste of it after her first album but her second one tanked and now she has to trash others to get her name in print.

I wish Canada would take her lame, foul-mouthed buttcrack back.

it basically all comes down to this: avril lavigne is a piece of ****, who is desperate for any sort of fame and atention, she has become what she once said she hated. shes a peice of **** and now shes dissing britney in a desperate attempt to get a piece of her fame. AVRIL YOU PIECE OF **** YOU WILL NEVER BE 1/1000 of what Britney is!

No one is able to handle the media and press. Its not t all Britt's fault that she has a more sensitive personality as apposed to Avril's or Madona's. But remember fellow commenters... The ugly things you say about Avril are the same ugly things that make weaker celebrities Crack. We should all just appriciate they're talents and strengths and be more forgiving when they act "Human"
