WHAT is going on with this world? Kelly Ripa announced on Live with Regis and Kelly that Shape magazine airbrushed her outie belly button off her body for her recent cover. She was upset about the situation but isn’t complaining because the company flew her family to Turks and Caicos for three days for the shoot. Kelly admitted she is a bit of a “travel slut” which I thought was pretty funny. But what is wrong with having an outie?

First of all if any of you bothered to purchase the magazine you would have read her interview where she says after a 10 year workout hiatus she has hired a personal trainer and enjoys working out now. She also demonstrates some of the moves that got her looking as fit as she does. Get the facts straight before you judge based on a picture.

You guys sound a bit jealous! Kelly was on Letterman the other night and explained that she began working out with a trainer a while back. She did this after she quit smoking. By the way the cuts in her abs are obtainable by most anyone willing to work for it. I think she looks great!
Why would any one be jealous of her? She is about as bright as a burnt out light bulb, and seriously, working out is one thing, anorexia is another.
I saw Kelly Ripa in person in December in the audience of her show. She looks like a toothpick covered in skin. Her head is enormus, but she is absolutely beautiful. She had a dress on and her legs looked like those of a bird, boney knobby knees, no ass and just teenie tiny. She is a been through the "HOllywood" machine as I call it. They all start out looking like the rest of us ( check her out in her early All My Children days). Then they get Hollywooded.. become skinny, (always size 0 or 0-)straight blonde hair, big head. Look at Jennifer Aniston, same thing.
In unedited shots you can see her sexy protruding Xyphoid Process! In 98.7% of women studied, those that presented with an "outie" umbilicus also exhibitted the "outie" trait across the board, i.e., nipples, labia, clitoris (up to 3.2 cm long and 5.1 cm circumference) tongue etc. This seems true for Kelly Ripa based on several photos featuring tight pants and crouching poses. Very beautiful. Undoubted source of osculatory gratification!!
As a person that has an outie I am extremely annoyed with Kelly. I would refuse the WHOLE AIR-BRUSHING!!!!! Outies can be sexy. SCREW KELLY for not being herself!!!!!
Kelly is so cute. I think she looks great, not too skinny. Everyone is shaped differently and I think it is important to embrace and take care of what we have, which is what she does.

Why do you all have to bash her body? Because she’s famous and probably looks better than you even before she was airbrushed? The point is not that she looks better after they doctored the photo….the point is that the magazine is presenting a false idea of beauty. When images like this one are permitted to circulate, it gives the rest of us–especially younger girls who are unaware of airbrushing tactics–body complexes and insecurities. We fall into a trap of believing that bodies like the one on the cover are actually attainable, when they’re not. So then women bash their own bodies privately because maybe they have an outie, or stretch marks, or wrinkles, or whatever!
I guess outies are not sexy…but thats just plain weird.
Shoot if I looked like that they could photoshop my belly button anytime.
Yeah, Kelly should just STFU. They did a great photoshopping job, why complain about it? Let America think you really look like this rather than having stretch marks and saggy skin!
