Courtney Love Denies Gastric Band

Yesterday I reported that Courtney Love lost all of her weight thanks to the placement of a gastric band around her stomach. Today, Courtney has come out with an official statement denying the surgery.

"I couldn't get that surgery if I begged for it. I got my inspiration from Oprah losing so much weight on Slim-Fast." (source)

Actually, Oprah did say on a show with her trainer Bob Green that she sometimes subsitutes one meal a day with a slim fast. It was on the best life diet show a couple of months ago
