At 2:30 this afternoon I was admitted to the hospital for pregnancy related issues. To read this personal post, click on the continue reading link below.
My cervix has had it. My uterus is pissed. And so here I am stuck in the hospital indefinitely.The scary part is, I am only 24 weeks and 5 days pregnant. This means that I could get dismissed in a few days or a few weeks… all depending on how I respond to the medication I am receiving. My husband got me a wireless card so at least I can get online to pass the day.
When I first came in they were asking me about who my baby’s obstetrician is and whether or not I plan to breastfeed. I was so upset because it made it sound like they expected me to deliver that day. I have to keep telling myself I can make it to 30 weeks. I at least want to make it to 30 weeks.
My heart is breaking that I won’t get to see my daughter everyday. I hope that our parents make an effort to bring her to me. My husband will definitely bring her on the weekends – not that I am going to be much fun. BUT AT LEAST SHE WILL SEE MY FACE.Anyway, I just wanted to explain why the site hasn’t been updated all day. I’ve been on one heck of a ride.
Send me lots of good thoughts if you don’t mind. It worked last time. Maybe it can work again.

Your site is one of a few I view every day, mostly for the harmless fun of escaping the problems of the real world for a while. Take care, and I hope your little one hangs in there a while longer before joining the rest of us on this crazy mixed up planet of ours.
Plenty of positive thoughts your way. Please try NOT to worry. Remember – you ARE past the danger point. The baby (as stated above) will thrive at this point. YOU should be positive already!

Hey sweetie, you must really love your gig or you just love us, this would be the last thing on my mind. Anyways i know what you are going through i had my twins 2 1/2 months early and hated the hospital bed until i got home to my unuser friendly bed and the maid service, lol… You will be fine just dont stress and trust in God. Relax, Relax, Relax and eat all the ice cream and jello you want.

It is tough to be at the hospital and away from family. I was put on bedrest in the hospital at 30 weeks for 3 weeks before they delivered me c-section. I will be praying for you and your baby. Just think of this as time to catch up on YOU!!! It always helped me to remember "I can leave whenever I want, I am staying here by choice." Just helped me feel like I was in control. You can do it VERA!

You can make it to 30 weeks – hell, tell yourself 35! Keep your legs crossed and think happy thoughts. Try to relax and rest. You might as well talk to your baby and tell him/her just to hold tight a little while longer.
