Kirstie Alley Can't Have Surgery Even If She Wanted To

Kirstie Alley has a few extra pounds to lose and would love to have them lipo-suctioned off. But she can't all thanks to Jenny Craig. They made her sign a contract waving her right to have surgery of ANY kind.

"In my Jenny Craig contract, I am not allowed to have any surgery. I'm not allowed to have lipo, I'm not allowed to have a facelift -- which I'd really like to have -- I am not allowed to have an eye job, I'm not allowed to have a boob job, I'm not allowed to have anything. I knew going into it that this was 'what you see is what you get.' It has to be natural."

But in the end, Kirstie isn't so thrilled about going under the knife.

"I'm incredibly nervous about general anesthesia. I'm one of those people who actually believe you should have something really life-threatening to [go under]."

She should embrace getting older without surgery, regardless of her contract. Why would she even tell us/complain to us about it?

Other Karen - that pic was taken about 10 years ago. I remember it was in an issue of US magazine when it was still a monthly magazine.

There have been a lot of rumors going around that other than Jenny Craig, Kirstie had lipo to lose the weight she lost. All she is doing is clearing that up.
