Britney Spears' Father Releases Statement About Her Recent Actions

Oh no... this is going to get very messy. VERY, VERY MESSY! Britney Spears' family father has released a public statement apologizing to Larry Rudolph, Brit's old manager for the pop star's actions. This isn't what she needs at this time. She need as much support as she can get from her loved ones. I have a feeling that Britney is going to remove herself even further from her support circle. Her father saidshe has no one to "blame but herself if she loses custody of her two sons and ruins her career." THANKS DAD! Here is an excerpt from the email Jamie Lynn Spears sent to the NY Post:

"When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done. She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life.

"The Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter's statements about him over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she blames him and her family for where she is at today with her kids and career. Larry has always been there for Britney. For this, we will forever be grateful to him."

Britney's quick response:

"I am praying for my father. We have never had a good relationship. It's sad that all the men that have been in my life do not know how to accept a real woman's love. I am concentrating on my work and my life right now."

it is about time this girl opened up her eyes and do what is best for HER... not the RECORD companies, not her PARENTS, not her EX BOYFRIENDS,HUSBANDS, but for HER...

she is finally starting to head in the right direction in life...

good 4 U, Brit, keep up the good work!

Nevermind...I checked the Post. The statement was just from Jamie (her father). That makes more sense now.

I think her dad is right. Passing blame on other people for YOUR own actions makes you look very foolish. Remember the old, "if your friends told you to jump off a bridge, would you?" talk?? The girl is 25 and needs to grow up PDQ. Very sad.

These people need to remember that Brit is the one taking care of them. She has done what everyone has told her for years. This girl needs to be herself and if no one likes it then to bad. It is horrible for a grown man to do this to his daughter, that just goes to show you what kind of father he was. Be your self Brit and tell them all to go to hell and get a job and stop living off her money.

Public embarrassment is exactly what Britney needs to pull her head out of the sand, especially if talking to her privately hasn’t help. Sure she’s gonna hate her dad for saying this publicly but somewhere down the line maybe in a few years time she is going to know that he was right. She needs to stop blaming others for her actions. Nobody held a gun to her head and forced her to do anything thing in the past 4 or so years. Sending her to rehab was a positive step and I cannot believe that she is blaming everyone else who is trying to help her. She needs to grow up big time!

He sounds pretty right-on to me... she needs to own her choices.
