Sarah Jessica Parker Slams Gwen Stefani

I am sure that Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t mean for the statement to come out this way… but take a look at what she said about Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. line.

Stefani’s designs are “much more avant-garde, definitely high fashion,” Parker opines. “I don’t want to do that for women, because that’s not their lives.”
Parker says her line won’t land you in the poorhouse. “You’re going to be able to buy $200 worth of clothes, leave that store with six bags and be able to pay your utilities and take your kids someplace special for their birthday.”

I don’t know if all of Gwen’s line is unwearable to the average woman. There are a few shirts that I would own if I was the type of gal to spend hundreds of dollars on one piece of clothing. I think SJP just meant her line will be more affordable.

What is it with these people pretty soon every one of them will have a clothing line, perfume, restaurant, or something to try to separate the rest of us from our dollar bills. The sad part is that they are all mediocre at singing, acting, and designing.

As a top salesperson, it is well known that when you belittle your competition, it is obvious that the merits of your product are threatened by your competiton.

For SJP, I think it is product and (her) image. What would she be without Sex in the City—after that show, everything she has acted in or been promoted by her have failed…or she has been fired (Gap). In addition, she is a supposed "fashionista"–(please!). She is saying she represents a product that is affordable for all women. Would her character on STC wear her fashion line??

Gwen Stefani is brilliant and modern.

SJP is overrated and pretentious. Get a grip.

if anyone lives around the tri-state area it is a well known fact that SJP bargin hunts and shops at Target. she is a very nice and humble person, she does not pretend to be someone she is not and is always concious and very much aware that there are poor people out there and if she feels that she wants to sell clothes cheaply and not make a huge profit so that she can help poor people not look so poor than good for her. I love her.

Try to Stop looking at things in a negative way all the time. I know this will be hard for you. Try reading the positive for once in your life. Perhaps get a life!!!!
