UPDATE: The Century Regional Detention Facility where Paris will complete her sentence does not serve pork or beef.
UPDATE 2: Paris' mother Kathy was laughing out loud in court while the prosecutors were making their case. She even asked for one of their autographs. What does that imply? My daughter is famous and you aren't? I am not sure what she was doing.
I'm going to send out a newsletter right now so all of you who aren't online can get this news. The story is developing. So stay tuned for more information.

Most of you will not agree with me, but I think this is way too harsh. I would not have wished this on Paris, although I am so very far from a fan of hers.
I dont know how I feel about it actually...
I guess she deserve it because she did the break the law... but she well know and I wouldnt be surprised if she gets attacked or something in Jail or picked on.
Way too harsh?? Are you kidding me? You cannot continuously break the law and get away with it just because you are famous and/or have money. Maybe she will take the laws that we all follow on a daily basis a little more seriously...
P.S. I just read that she was 18 minutes late for this court appearance today... THAT probably added a little more fuel for the judge to make the ruling he did

I am so glad...I was really concerned that she would find a legal loophole around jail time. While I feel badly for her (as I suspect this is the first time she will truly face the consequences of her actions), I view it as a blessing in disguise. A little true reality might do this young woman a world of good.
I have one thing to say about this.

good! i dont hat her or anything, but letting her get away with something like that just sends out a message, that you can drink and drive and you wont go to jail. She got was she deserves, goes to prove money cant get you everywhere!

Well, I hate to say it, but I think an example was made out of her. Celebs do get away with more than the average person and its really about time a judge finally sentenced someone because of their crime and not let them go easy because they are famous.
This is what happens when you think you can break rules and do what ever you please. She and her crowd of lackeys are all idiots thinking that they can drink the night away and drive. Maybe the paper work to free her will get lost somewhere.....

My friends husband went to Prison for 2 years for his third DUI it is not a joke at all.

She will get out of it. Her lawyer is going to appeal. She deserves to go to jail just like you and I would have to.

I hope that she DOES serve some time! My ideal is for her to be PUT AWAY for a FULL month! She needs to be punished. SHe is NOT above the law...Even if her last name is HILTON. I bet her grandfather, Conrad, is rolling over in his grave over having such a "bratty" granddaughter!

That apology her lawyer wrote for her was too little too late and lnothing more than a spin doctor tactic to counter all the bad press she has received. While she tosses and turns in her sleep as she awaits the inevitable she probably dreams of herself at the oscar podium (lol) now crying out to her adoring (lol) fans "You hate me!... You really hate me!" Perepetia; the moment in Greek tragedy where the hero learns everything he ever knew was wrong. (wink, wink!)
