Let's Be Serious - Will Paris Hilton Get Her Jail Sentence Appealed?

Last night I couldn't help but think about the improbability of Paris Hilton actually serving her 30 45 day sentence for violating probation. Every news outlet is already reporting that it is her right to appeal the decision which means the Hilton's are already working on the paperwork. I can see this getting dropped down to community service before I finish writing up this post.
Her plea to the judge made no difference in her sentence.
"I'm very sorry, and from now on I'm going to pay complete attention to everything. I'm sorry, and I did not do it on purpose at all," she told the judge before he announced the sentence.

Paris' attorney Howard Weitzman had this to say once he found out his client was going to jail,
"I'm shocked, I'm surprised and really disheartened in the system that I've worked in for close to 40 years. The sentence was uncalled for, inappropriate and bordered on the ludicrous. I think she's singled out because of who she is."

This morning, almost all television reporters are painting the most terrible picture of Paris' sentenced facility. I already reported that the only meat the jail serves is chicken (which I actually wouldn't have a problem with). But now I just heard that they serve bologna sandwiches three times a day and only let their inmates take showers with cold water. They are really trying to make us feel sorry for her and I don't understand why.
What do you think? Will she serve? How long? Or is she just going to slip through the system and pick up trash in her heels for a weekend?

I read somewhere that Michelle Rodriguez who was also convicted of something similar only did a few hours in jail and then was released with an ankle bracelet....that would be fitting...not as good as actual jail time but just knowing she is inconvenienced in someway for her moronic and lawbreaking ways would be good. I bet Nicole Richie is shaking in her shoes now.

Sorry to have little sympathy for her but she is famous and makes stupid mistakes. Young women look up to her and if she got away with this then its like she is getting special treatment, if she goes to jail its because she is famous. Give me a effing break! This girl needs to serve her time and learn a lesson. Grow up already!

It will be an ultra-unpleasant experience, but she has to learn that her actions have consequences. She could kill somebody on the road one day with her reckless actions.

My friend spent the night in jail once. He said it was a horrible, horrible experience.

yea she deserves jail time, every single day of the 45 in the slammer.. i mean with everything this girl does im suprised it took this long to get her on something.
I dont even feel a little bit sorry... She never really ever takes responsibility for anything...its good to see(if she spends the whole 45 days in jail) that rich people are not above the law!!
hahaha have fun Paris
Dont drop the soap!!!!!!!!!

I think her lawyer has it backwards and I think she will get away with it because of who she is. She is no f... different than us poor people, you break the rules you pay. But she wont and she be right back spending her money and being the **** she is!

I love how her mother and lawyer say that Paris has been singled out because of "who she is". Who she is: a probation violating drunk driver. So yes. Yes, she was singled out because of who she is. In the eyes of teh law she is a criminal and the law singles out criminals for their crimes. Duh.

Can genetics be a factor in the likelihood of doing jail time?

I ran an abbreviated (only ten generations) Family Forest® kinship report of Paris Hilton and noticed several people in the report who also found themselves in a similar situation to the one Paris is in today.

One of the more famous ones of today is actress and celebrity Sari “Zsa Zsa” Gabor , who also received much media attention in 1989 when she went to jail for her altercation with a Beverly Hills police officer.
