Is This Just More PR For Paris Hilton's Case?

Paris Hilton is trying to say that she genuinely didn't know she wasn't able to drive while her license was suspended. Elliot Mintz, her PR rep who Paris "fired" once the verdict dropped, is now claiming full responsibility for her actions and is backing up her statements in court. Is this just another way to portray Paris in an innocent light? Is Elliot really off the paybooks or is this his most genius PR move yet?

Here is the email he sent:

THE DAY AFTER THE HEARING. I SENT PARIS AN E-MAIL EXPRESSING MY SADNESS OVER THE RULING OF THE JUDGE AND THE IRRATIONAL SENTENCE HE IMPOSED. IN THAT E-MAIL I ALSO OFFERED MY SINCEREST APOLOGY FOR ANY MISUNDERSTANDING SHE RECEIVED FROM ME REGARDING THE TERMS OF HER PROBATION. TO THE EXTENT THAT I HAVE MUSCOMMUNICATED INFORMATION I RECEIVED FROM HER ATTORNEYS......I AM DEEPLY AND PROFOUNDLY SORRY.

I TOLD HER THAT I ASSUME PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY PART IN THIS MATTER. I BELIEVE WHEN PARIS STATED IN COURT THAT SHE BELIEVED IT WAS O.K. FOR HER TO DRIVE UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES SHE WAS BEING ABSOLUTELY TRUTHFUL. DUE TO THIS MISUNDERSTANDING, I AM NO LONGER REPRESENTING PARIS. FOR THE RECORD, I HAVE NOTHING BUT LOVE AND RESPECT FOR PARIS AND HER FAMILY. PARIS IS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND DOES NOT DESERVE THE PINISHMENT THAT WAS HANDED DOWN BY THE COURT.

I ONLY WISH HER MY BEST.

Give me a break Paris is a grown woman, not the teenage she wish she could be. She is old enough to understand right from wrong. and if she does not, this will be her timely lesson learned.

this is a bunch of bull if you have a drivers licence the you are responsible for what you do dont go blaming some one else she should be responsible enough to know what she can an can not do when she gets in to trouble if she did not know she should have checked with the cops
