Ty Pennington is awaiting his arraignment on June 4th for his arrest on suspicion of DUI. He is making the media rounds apologizing for his mistake. The timing couldn't be worse for Ty. He is set to release a brand new magazine called Ty Pennington at Home on Tuesday. Here is his remorseful apology:
"I made a really bad error in judgment. I made a mistake, and honestly, it made me realize how important every decision you make in your life is because it affects everyone, not just yourself."
"I'm old enough to know better and I shouldn't have. It could jeopardize everything, including my job, which to me, is the greatest job in the world and I would never want to jeopardize that. I get to do something that a lot of people never get to do in their lifetime and actually get to make a difference in people's lives."
"If we could hit rewind in our life, I think we would do a bunch of things differently. But you can't do that. All you can do is accept what's happened and learn from it, move on and try to make sure you've learned from it and maybe teach other people so they don't have to go through the same thing."
Well, it does give him some publicity for his new magazine; and you know what they say ANY PR is better than no PR at all! I think we forgive Ty--NEXT!
Another huge difference is that Paris had her licsense suspended and continued to drive and get caught not once BUT twice. I think this one reason that people have zero sympathy for her. (besides she is such loser.
there is a big different between ty and hilton. ty doesnt have a criminal history and he is generally a good guy.. everyone make mistakes. i mean how many people running this country has been arrested for dui... i dont think anything should be in jeopardy and he does realize the extent of the seriousness of the situation and is apologizing...
There is another difference between Ty and Paris: Ty has a big value for ABC channel while Paris has no value for anyone (or maybe a few magazines).
Oh, he does his community service every week by helping families have a new start on life with a new beautiful home!
community service at my house, and he must be shirtless.
let him get the help he needs and wish him the best
we all make mistakes - no one was killed
thank God
Enough already! We have all done things that we would love to change if we could, but hey Ty I agree that we learn from our mistakes and you are one very special individual and we love you just the same,
Rock on and hold that gorgeous smile!!
