Kelly Clarkson Opens Up About Irvine

Kelly Clarkson wrote one of the songs that is featured on her latest album, My December, in the bathroom of one of the venues from her last US tour. After her performance in Irvine, California, she was so heartbroken about a recent break up that she penned the tune named after the city.
“It was literally the lowest point I’ve had in my life… I was just so burned-out. I was really struggling at getting somebody out of my life and finding people that really cared. The whole song is a prayer. I wrote it in a bathroom of the venue after the show… It was just a really, really bad night.”
If anyone can find the lyrics online, can you please post them. I tried to find them and couldn’t. I’m curious to read it.

I absolutey love this song….it is so raw and the fact that she is so open with the world. I love it, and it is really helpful when you are at that low point, to just here this melancholy notes, and the sadness in her voice, and you know that you are not alone. She is truly amazing vocally, and I believe lyrically….I am happy that she got the album out that she truly wanted to get out…
