For her sequel as the face of another Louis Vuitton campaign, Scarlett Johansson played a role with which she’s extremely familiar: movie star. Evoking at turns Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly, Johansson displays voluptuous glamour in the color-drenched fall spots, slated to break in August fashion magazines.
“In this one, she’s much more recognizable,” said Antoine Arnault, Vuitton’s communications director, who allowed that the actress is not always immediately identifiable in the current spring ads in her role as the French-coquette-on-a-swing.
The photographers were so INSPIRED by the photoshoot that during lunch they continued to snap impromptu black and white shots. Expect these to show up in POP magazine later this year.

Probably a good marketing strategy by LV – attract more of the common middle class types with more "average" bodies, etc. who can relate to someone like SJ better than more ethereal fashion model types.
The biggest focus is supposed to be the handbag, which is absolutely amazing! and scarlett definetly suits the picture and does what she was supposed to in this ad..who cares how she is as an actress?
Is she ever gonna dye those black eyebrows of hers? It looks ridiculous.
To compare Scarlett with Marilyn or, God forbid, Grace Kelly is blasphemy. Not even CLOSE.
I ignore the potential photoshopedness of it and just say that I love the purse, the shoes and her skin looks amazing, like milky porcerlain.
