Since Lindsay Lohan was not of legal drinking age the day she got in her car accident and arrested for suspicion of DUI, California officials are now investigating underage drinking in Hollywood. They are starting with Les Deux, the restaurant that Lindsay was spotted exiting at 3:30 in the morning. Les Deux released an official statement defending themselves:
“We have and will continue to work closely with the ABC to make sure alcohol is consumed by responsible people of the legal drinking age, in a responsible manner. Les Deux is a restaurant and there is no age limit for our patrons. Lindsay had dinner at Les Deux that night and waited for friends to pack up the DJ supplies, thus leaving Les Deux after closing. Because of the enormous paparazzi presence outside of Les Deux that night, we allowed her to stay late and wait for her friends. She was not drinking at Les Deux, and left driven by her driver.”
It’s about time that celebrities who are still minors get treated the same as other minors – NO ACCESS to nightclubs that serve alcohol. This could be the wave that we have all been waiting to ride.
In other Lindsay news, a friends says she is doing well in rehab:
“She’s happy where she is and is just taking time to herself to learn and be okay,” stylist friend Nate Newell told PEOPLE at Wednesday’s Los Angeles opening of the flagship Diesel store on Melrose Place. “I’ve been in touch with her and she likes it.”
And don’t worry about Lindsay missing work. Her latest project is making schedule adjustments to accommodate her stay:
“We are trying to rearrange the shooting schedule to facilitate her working at the end of the shoot to coincide with the completion of her rehabilitation,” producers Rob Hickman and Shirley MacLaine said Wednesday “We wish her love and the blending of mind, body, and spirit.”
Star Magazine is the only magazine reporting something negative at the moment. They are claiming that Lindsay tried to kill herself. A “source” reports on an incident that occurred in NYC one week prior to the accident:
“She grabbed a knife and started cutting at her writs,” the insider reveals. “A friend made her stop and went around looking for sharp objects. Lindsay ran into the bathroom with a bottle of Advil.” Crying, “Leave me alone! I just want to die!” Lindsay locked herself in the bathroom and threatened to swallow the entire bottle, says the source. Finally, someone broke down the door and saved the distraught actress from herself!
21 as drinkin age seems ridiculous to me, specially if you can drive at 16 (that seems way to young)… you are an adult for everything, not just certain things
The whole world knows this girl is not 21 yet these clubs all serve her, and have been for years.
Underage drinkers should not be allowed in clubs, PERIOD. Look what happens!! Hohan has just justified the laws with her irresponsible behavior.

Ok, if I were 20 again, and had a shitload of money, and invites to the hottest clubs, with the hottest celebs, I might find myself doing mountains of coke and drinking too. I mean, WTF! She is young with everything at her disposal. The only reason I stopped all that (I did the same things) was because I HAD to go to college and work. I had no huge bank account. I just never had any cameras following me.

Advil? Are you kidding? With all the toxic drugs her body is used to, she has built a tolerance to oxycontin, coke, vodka, & jack daniels. She could swallow a million advils and she wouldnt even feel it.
