Nicole Richie Doesn't Want To Keep Paris Hilton Company
Ever since Paris Hilton ACTUALLY got sentenced to time in jail, young Hollywood is starting to understand that they might have to face consequences for their actions as well. Nicole Richie was doing the rounds to promote The Simple Life and ended up on David Letterman's couch. She said she is scared but willing to take responsibility.
"I'm just keeping my fingers crossed, and, you know, of course, I'm scared also, but, you know, I'm willing to face whatever consequences come my way, and I take responsibility for what I've done."
In February Nicole pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence. She was arrested Dec. 11 and volunteered she had smoked marijuana and taken the prescription painkiller Vicodin. However, no drugs were found in her car. She already has a 2003 misdemeanor DUI conviction. IF convicted, Nicole could face anything between a suspended license to a full year in jail. She is due to find out what will happen to her at the end of the month.
Letterman told Nicole:
"I hope you don't have to go to jail."
What do you hope? Should Nicole Richie be the next celebrity to face jail time for DUI?

I think that they should really be hard on the celebs, and give the regular people with cheap attorneys a break. Seriously, I hope to never be in the situation those girls are in but if I were, I would hope for fair treatment going with a court appointed attorney.
she should be punished for what she did. i strongly believe that. no exuse.
I defenitly think Nicole would take jail much more better then Paris did. I think she would actually suck it up and deal with it. But then again, who really knows?
