The reason Paris Hilton was released from jail was mental. Many of you were insinuating it had something to do with not being able to have access to Valtrex pills (which I thought was VERY FUNNY). TMZ is reporting that there is an uproar against the LA County Sheriff's Department over their decision to let this socialite go after only three days. Either way, what is done is done. I just wish I had Paris' team handling my affairs.
And about that ankle bracelet - if she bedazzles it in any way, I am just going to scream.
Here is her first official statement:

"I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."
