Hot New Couple Alert: Jessica Simpson And Jake Gyllenhaal?

The NY Daily News is reporting that Jessica Simpson and Jake Gyllenhaal have a "crush on each other" and are expected to start dating. I love how the paparazzi get tips so the stars can get press. Although no official pictures have been released, the media is officially on alert. Isn't this pairing just as unlikely as the John Mayer one? Maybe we really don't know Jes after all.

Meanwhile, the hot rumor in Los Angeles last week was that Simpson was set to have a romantic rendezvous with Jake Gyllenhaal. Although there is no evidence the two met up, paparazzi had been tipped off that the pair "have a crush on each other" and that they should be on the lookout for a date, according to one celebrity-chaser.
