Who Would've Known: Vanessa Paradis Sings!

Vanessa Paradis, aka our favorite Pirate of the Caribbean, Johnny Depp's long time partner, has a new album coming out in France on September 3rd of this year. The album is titled Divine Idylle, and the first single was released last month. This is album number 7 for her.
According to Vanessa's official website, she will be on tour in France starting this coming August. Just for fun, check out Vanessa's pre-Johnny Depp days in this video from her first hit song:

Over her in Montreal Vanessa Paradis was SUPER SUPER popular. She was the Madonna of the French Language, gap in the front teeth and all.
Funny, she and JD kind of even look alike.
Vanessa Paradis may not have range but her voice and looks in that Joe le Taxi song have a certain seductive innocence about them.
I remember her well when she was a childstar in France and Europe. I had to listen to the Joe le Taxi song in the radio a million times a day! She was hugely popular and the media was crazy with her!
UUhm Lily and Mirella you are both terribly mistaken because the only French singer compared to Madonna is Mylène Farmer.

Yes Vanessa is a Huge star in France and one of the "ambassadress" for Chanel since she made that ad for N°5, she also is also a good actress, but "the French Madonna" she is not!!!
