Does anyone really need American Idol jeans? Someone thought it would be a good idea for Lyric Jeans to partner up with AI and create a new line of merchandise to market to our young. Currently, they are targeting the juniors and girls market. But they are expected to expand to children's wear. I guess if there are people willing to buy it...

The stars of American Idol have landed their own jeans line. The TV talent show's bosses at FreeMantle Media have struck a new deal with Lyric Jeans to create a lyric-inspired American Idol branded apparel line for department stores. The initial Lyric Jeans-American Idol collection will focus on the contemporary juniors and girls market and expand into other areas, including children's wear.
