Hilary Duff was having dinner with her entire family earlier this week. When they left the establishment, she didn’t have time to sign an autograph which made a little girl cry. I have to be honest here… celebrities need time off too. If they signed every autograph request, these people would get nothing else done. But it was a little girl... 
“On their way out, the owner asked if Hilary would sign a menu for her daughter and she did,” says an insider. But when the youngsters approached, the source says, “[Hilary] said, ‘I don’t really get to spend a lot of time with my family; sorry’ and walked out the door. “She made one of the little girls cry.”

HD should have signed the autographs for them; it was just two 9 year olds. When HD took on the role as a kid/teen idol she knew what came along with it. Also, the girls had her merchandise, which they spent there $$ on. I hope (being and star idol) this is not going to her head, we have seen too many of them go bad. And from my understanding they didn’t interrupt there dinner, she was leaving the restaurant. As much $$ and time my daughter saves to buy her products she would have been heart broken.
