Naomi Watts To Play Narcissa Malfoy In Next Potter Film

How exciting! Rumor is Naomi Watts has sealed the deal and is all set to play Draco's mother, Narcissa Malfoy in the next Harry Potter film. She doesnt' have to start working on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince until September. So that should give Naomi enough time to hang out with her new little boyfriend, Alexander. I can't wait to see what she does with this role. She is one of my favorite actresses.

I saw this the other day and got so excited until I read that her publicist denied it. A shame because she would rock as Narcissa. I hope she does it.
Nicole and Naomi are not British though, and the cast is supposed to be all British.
I dont think shes right for the part, Tilda Swinton would be better imo but again, as said above, the HUGE majority of the cast- bar about two i think -of the cast are british, so I dont knowhow true this is. I think someone may have just latched onto a well known blonde actress......I hope its not true but if it is I hope she does a good job - not that Narcissa will be in the film v long, shes only in the1st chapter really
I say British should include Canada and Australia and Newzie since they are still under the queen. Therefore, making Kidman and Watts eligible to star in HP :D
Other Karen she was born and raised in England till she was 14 but dont worry it has already been debunked.
There were also rumors going around about Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend along with Naomi all going to be in the movie but all 3 got debunked.
That would be wonderful to have NAOMI on board!

whoa ashabash Narcissa is deffinitely NOT mousy and insecure, what books are you reading? Wilting daisy??? Narcissa is supposed to be proud, haughty and condescending like Draco and Lucius duh. Personally i thought Naomi was too young, i think some of the other actresses mentioned above would be better. Tilda Swinton or Joley Richardson maybe...

The actress' name is Helen something-or-other, who was originally cast as Bellatrix. She shot the breaking out of Azkaban scene but had to pull out because she became pregnant and Helena Bonham-Carter took over the role of Bellatrix. Helen (whatever-her-last-name-is) got offered the role of Narcissa (Bellatrix' sister) instead.
