Hayden Panettiere went shopping yesterday in L.A. It looks like she picked up some Marc Jacobs goodies and tried on a few pairs of sunglasses while she was out. There’s even a shot of her playing with somebody’s puppy! She looks so relaxed even as she is hounded by tons of paparazzi. I mean that guy behind her in the plaid shorts has a huge lens and it looks like he is zooming in on the money shot…her tush! Poor Hayden, I’d be freaking out if I were her!

Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman were photographed in Beverly Hills doing some shopping at Bristol Farms and Ralph’s. Christina has been doing a pretty good job of covering her belly and staying quiet about the pregnancy. Can’t wait to see her finally showing off that baby bump!

Last night I attended Showtime’s advanced screening for Weeds and Californication. I have basic cable (GASP!) ever since The Sopranos’s ended their run on HBO. But I might just have to upgrade to show some support for David Duchovny newest series. It was pretty funny! I don’t know if it was the theatre atmosphere or the free popcorn, but I was laughing throughout the entire first episode. It is really something to watch out for.

Weeds is a staple. The crowd went wild when the opening music began. What an eventful first show! I don’t want to give too much away. But the ending of the first episode gets you really nervous for Mary Louise Parker.

Time Out Magazine and Dale and Thomas popcorn co-sponsored the event with Showtime. Everyone walked away with one of their magazines, a travel guide to California, season 2 of Weeds on DVD, and a big ol’ bag of the crunchy munchy. I had lots of fun. I would post pictures of my friend and I. But that baby weight is still hanging out around the middle and I don’t want proof of this time of my life.

I LOVE STAR MAGAZINE!!! Britney Spears is accusing her mother of sleeping with Kevin Federline. HEY NOW! It just doesn’t get anymore Jerry Springer than this. Where is that bald security guard when you need him?

“In a fit of rage, Britney accused her mom of sleeping with Kevin!” a friend tells Star. “Britney doesn’t know up from down right now. She’s so confused and angry, she told Lynne that she was so backstabbing, that she was probably sleeping with Kevin just to hurt her feelings. Lynne, on the other hand, is deeply hurt that her own daughter would so viciously accuse her of doing something so terrible.”

The bitter feud between Britney and her mom, Lynne Spears has been raging for a while. Sources say the singer blames her mother for talking her into entering rehab last February, and the war between them has been getting nastier ever since.

Delusional much? Her “friends” seem to think so.

And friends believe her outrageous allegation about her mother and Kevin is just more proof that Britney isn’t well. “Her apparent paranoia about her mother and Kevin seems to be a product of her current mental state,” the insider says. “All that Lynne and Kevin hope for right now is that Britney will start seeing a therapist to get to the root of her issues, instead of wildly blaming others for her insecurities.”

Somehow I can’t see one of Britney’s friends saying that quote. Sounds more like a psychotherapist to me. You have to admit Star always keeps it entertaining.

My favorite leading man, Matt Damon, was photographed picking up coffee and checking out the tabloids. I guess Matt is just like us, only famous and a lot richer. Did anyone see ‘Bourne Ultimatum’? That will be my first date night movie as soon as I find someone willing to watch my babies.
