Emma Bunton welcomed a little bundle of saffron into the world over the weekend. She named her son Beau, which means beautiful in French. No pressure BEAU!! I am always nervous for children who have names with meaning. What if he doesn’t turn out to be beautiful? Or Brooke Burke’s child Heaven, what if she is a little demon seed? And speaking of angels… Melanie Brown has put some pressure on her little one as well.

Emma Bunton, a.k.a. “Baby Spice,” has become a mother for the first time – of a boy named Beau, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Beau, which in French means “beautiful,” was born on Friday at 11:12 a.m. and weighed a healthy 7 lbs., 15oz. – the same birth weight as his father, Bunton boyfriend Jade Jones, according to Bunton’s London rep, Alan Edwards.

Speaking outside London’s Portland Hospital, Jones said: “He is absolutely brilliant, and both baby and Emma are doing fine. In fact Emma is tucking into some flapjacks and Coca-Cola as we speak.”

Jessica Biel, who plays a stripper in her upcoming movie, Powder Blue, talks about how she is dreading doing a nude scene in the film. Jessica says,

“I haven’t decided exactly about the nudity. It’s a tough one. I am considering it but it’s a very scary thing to do. It definitely feels vulnerable to be naked in front of anybody let alone a film crew. And it’s scary because of the internet - you don’t know where it’s going to end up. It’s a moment that could be exploited.”

I’m glad she’s being smart and taking all things into consideration. I never really thought about how uncomfortable it really is in front of all those people. Guess we’ll have to wait to see what she ends up actually doing!

Amy Smart, Emmy Rossum and Rumer Willis all showed up for the Helio Launch Summer Party. Amy looked hot in one those short, shiny, metallic dresses that seem to be all the rage right now. We just saw Mischa Barton wear one a few days back. I am not a metallic kinda girl. But I can still admire from afar.
